The official summer holiday can finally begin.
These past few months have been quite crazy. I had my final exams in my secondary school. Or high school if you prefer, there’s not much of a difference in my country. And I also got accepted to all the colleges I wanted to go to. So now that I got all the paperwork done, I can finally start my summer adventures.
On my first one me and the two of my friends decided to go on a little roadtrip to the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, where I wanted to go for the longest time.
After two hour drive we parked our car in a little village called Mezní Louka and we headed on a hike to the one and only Pravčická Brána.
On our way up there, we’ve had an amazing weather. The sun was shining, and if you want to take good photos, in my opinion, natural light is the best feature you can get. It was very hot and the air kinda humid though.
After around 6 km of walking, when we got up to the gem of our trail, the sky was getting whiter and whiter, which honestly I am not a big fan of.
Right next to the Gate, there is a restaurant where you can sit and enjoy some food or a beverage of your choice. But to be honest all the food listed on the menu was very fatty, so if you don’t want your stomach hurt on your way back, there is not that many options.
On our way back we chose the shorter trail so it didn’t take as long to get down to the road as it took to get up. Then we just hopped on a bus that took us back to our car.
